Teehar SatelliteGuys Master Pub Member / Supporter Sep 29, 2010 8,496 393 WNC May 6, 2013 #2 I'm not sure what type of hd the 942 has,I'm guessing it's ide,pretty sure the Vip models use sata.You could definitely use it an as ehd either way.If it's ide you would need an adapter,then I don't know if it would fit in the 622/722 hd bay.
