Dish Network Universal Remote and Apple TV

I just converted to Dish Network from a terrible experience with Time Warner. I would like to program the Dish universal remote to operate my Apple TV. Has anyone been successful doing this?

I've posted a thread on the Apple TV support discussion board and have recieved little to no activity or response. I thought I'd try here.

Any help would be appreciated.
