EHD Question, Switching Arcs, and clueless response from online CSR.

Okay our locals went live today and I'm going to contact DISH when they open(chat) to schedule an appointment to repoint the dish to the Eastern Arc. What I was wondering will this affect my recordings on my EHD or my Hoppers anyway to the point to where they won't work after changing arcs? More than likely the answer is no but I really would hate to lose my two EHD's and Hoppers full of recordings.

Update: So I was not able to get my arc switched because the CSR couldn't comprehend that the new HD channels in my area are on 61.5w and that my DISH is pointed at 110w,119w, 129w. I posted the chat log below. I really don't think I could have been anymore direct to the reason why I needed this to happen.

Okay well strike one. Online CSRs have really went downhill. I should have just contacted DIRT in the first place, well here for your laughter I submit to you ....

Too bad Chat has apparently "devolved" after reading other similar reports. They used to be a close second behind Dirt in contact options. They now appear to be tied, at the bottom, with phone CSRs.

Yeah I could more than likely repoint the dish if I had an EA LNB. However I don't and I lease so I feel I shouldn't have to pay out the $50 for the LNB to get my locals in HD. All that I know is my Hoppers have been waiting patiently for this day... I'm just waiting on a response from DIRT. I sent Raymond a PM about 40 minutes ago.

Sorry about that KAB, I meant Ray C, not Raymond. I'm not sure why I typed Raymond. I still noticed he went offline so I sent a request to Stephen so one of them should be getting back to me eventually. However, thanks for checking for me.


Update from DIRT
I'd be happy to help you. The launch is happening today on this. I am not seeing the option on the account to setup the work order to do that yet. Please contact me back on Saturday and I will see if the option is available.

So it looks like nothing can be done today, but at least the reason given to me is better than what I went through with online chat. I was just trying to get my request for an appointment in before everyone else :)

To bad I had to take care of some business yesterday and I just now was able to view that PM. I could have had someone out here today to at least try to repoint my dish. Oh well. I just sent a reply back to Stephen he'll get me set up with an appointment soon :) I can't wait until Prime Time Anytime ... and a CBS signal that doesn't look like I'm looking through a mosaic window.
