I put this in as a separate thread problem although related to the SP3 update. If you installed SP3 check your device listing and see if it is empty, also check your network connections folder for devices and see if they are also missing.
The problem is with Service pack 3.
Computer World has reported the problem, and folks were blaming Norton, but it seems that Microsoft is to blame. This problem also occurred during the time when SP2 was sent out.
