EPG Programming

I emailed the dreambox company and asked about a way to program our own epg due to the lack of one in fta. Their units use unix so it should be easy to make a program to add the shows on the epg ourselfs. Here is the answer

Just a thought
I wouldn't mind spending a little extra money for a dreambox if I could write a epg and share it with others.

The problem being that most of the FTA programming in this country is not intended for us! So will NEVER carry EPG!

I know, but if we could write our own guide like whats comming on the g10r channels it would be helpful.

not a bad idea.

While most channels woold be difficult to keep updated EGP info, local stations can be pulled online weeks in advance.

Might be a pain to update every week, but would be kinda cool.

Would make the wife happy

alot of the channels on g10r (like rtn) hardly ever change
