I went on a service call a few days ago for this same problem. The customer didn't speak much english so I guess the CSR wasn't sure exactly what her complaint was, but I should have never been dispatched there. They were getting the Chinese Variety Pack off the 118.7 using a DISH 500+. Signal strenth was great, the locals and AT100 came in just fine, but there was just an info screen and some background music on all the Chinese channels. Contacted Dish, CSR said it is a known issue and couldn't give me any info except that the engineers were working on it.
