ExpressVu install trouble

I just installed a 3100 receiver south of the border using my Toronto address - I am getting signal strength, but after I get the message "Is mounting position locked...?" I press 'yes' - then I get a message "Warning - Vital program info will be downloaded...." -- then that screen freezes, I have left it on that screen for 24 hrs and nothing. Any thoughts or ideas?

I would unplug the receiver...wait 30seconds..plug it back in and try to see what happens.

I've never heard of that happening..I'm assuming you are on Nimiq 1 (91)?
