There is. Main drawback is if you use it on a 40gig, which only has two USB ports.

I really liked my BT Sony remote, but I can see where it pains one remote people.

There is and the article says that there is. It also mentions that those don't do all functions. i would have to see how much this one is. The aded functionality is not all that important.

Can you add an external USB port replicator to one of the two on the PS3? Like you can for PCs?

Some have reported success with hubs but have noted that one or two devices need to go straight into the PS3 not the hub. having said that I have heard similar stories in the PC world.
