Found 2 625 dish receivers

A tenant left behind 2 625 dish receivers and 2 remotes in a rent house of mine. What do I need to do with them? Seems like there was a company years ago that would buy them.

#2 Dish won't activate SD equipment anymore.

Could call Dish and request a box to send back.

Seriously, would Dish want them? Like for like replacement? Bureaucratic stupidity?

Or just doing the tenant a favor by clearing it off their account?

I'll chunk them. But I could have sworn there was a company that would send you a box prepaid and after they received it you could cash their check and if i remember correctly it was 75 or 100 bucks

I failed to notice that change. Are you sure?

Maybe it's not activating non 8PSK and non MPEG-4 equipment. Which works out to pretty much the same thing.

If you send them back, you may get credit, and they will refurbish to be used for Dish Mexico. 2 less things in the Landfill. IMHO

DIRT may not be able to help. There is no active subscription.... Of course he could try and see what their answer might be.
