Found A Dish

I came accross a dish that someone was throwing away. Has anyone seen this type of dish that the dish arm folds? Also hsa anyone used this type of lnbf? I am planning on using it for GR10.

That LNB looks weird. Is there any writing on it or specs? As long as it covers 11.7-12.2 MHZ you should be OK...otherwise you could put a different LNB on

The dish and the lnbf came from germany where the couple used it to get AFN.

Writing on the back is: ALPS Universal LNB
LO:9.75/10.60 GHZ

oh it will work then....you just need to set the receiver up for a Universal

either set up for "Universal" setting (LO freq. will default)
or "Standard" with a LO of 10600 22k on will work

Looks to be a Triax dish. Should be a good performer its similar to the Patriot PTX series. I have a Patriot PTX-110 it works great. Here is a link to Triax's website..

Great pics. I particularily like the folding down arm, what a great idea. Looks like a 30"+.
