If your question is how do i make my dish remote control a new samsung AV receiver, it is possible the code is not yet in the remote.

However I would suggest getting your self a universal remote - I personally use a harmony 880.

The other option is to use the samsung remote to control the dish receiver

By browsing the models on www.samsung.com i found the one that looked the most like R73 and voila! the codes were in the manual of LN-S4052D.

On page 19 and forward you find how to set up and also the codes for different vendors and vcrs /dvd.

Lastly suggest using more specific titles you'll get more response.
