grey screen

dtv subscriber, self installed...
i came home tonight and turned on my hr20...no guide, odd transponders only, and all i get is a grey screen. directivo upstairs in my bedroom, all is fine.

what y'all think, lnb and/or cabling problems? hopefully it's not the receiver. anyone ever have this problem?

First of all, try doing a reboot, (red button behind access panel).
See if thayt fixes your issue, the resets tend to fix alot of stuff.

IF the TIVO unit is connected to the same dish (I know it has to be your saying) then I would rule out a LNB, seeing your not having trouble with it.
btw, are you currcntly using the 5 lmb set up ?

I would look at connectors and or cable for bad fittings or bad cable.
