HBO & Showtime Free Preview Starting 9/3 @ 6AM EST

Someone with a 9 day guide could probably tell us, they'd also have to not have hbo or showtime now to see the channels go back to red

On my 508s they show in red but you can set a timer.

HBO was from sept 3-7 every time I saw it listed, I had no idea about showtime, I thought cinemax was also in free preview, not showtime, but we'll see in the morning...makes sense as HBO/cinemax are the same house...

And on dish the channels that become available are HBO pack and Showtime back, but not the west feeds

Cinemax is not included

BFG, I just checked on my 942 and it shows channels 9456/9460 as available. I'm assuming that they are included. But I may be wrong. Also just checked...they turn back red on Thurdsday morning around 7 or so. It also allowed me to set DVR timers for those stations as well.

Yep, as kresston said, 9456 HBOHD, and 9460 SHOHD are available in the free preview, I'm watching HBOHD right now.

They are on my 811!!!

It's about time Dish included the HD channels, I think this is the first time.

Actually, the last freeview, which was Showtime (can't remember if HBO or Cinemax were also free), Showtime-HD was included. That was when Kirstie Alley's show was premiering. I still have Super Size Me from SHOHD on my 921.

Even though I have Shark Tale on DVD, it looks great in HD. I don't subscribe to any of the HD channels so I'm happy to finally see how HD looks. Its great to finally have some HD content to watch albeit for a short period of time, at least for me.
