HD enhanced audio? WTF

A couple of days ago, I heard one of the local FM stations claiming that they're now the only one around here broadcasting on "Hi-Def enhanced audio". Any clue what that may mean? Maybe they upgraded their player from tape to CD?

Sounds like they are talking about Digital Radio, which I know nothing about. Personally, I would love to see radio migrate to the digital format, but I get the feeling it's going to take longer and be more painful than DTV; the radio stations just don't have the money. http://ftp.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/digitalradio.html

I love these stations advertising this new HD radio format, however there is NO PLACE you can buy one of these HD Radios.

I was surfing stations and don't remember exactly. Maybe KRSK (105.1), I confirm when I hear it again.
