HD OTA problems

I have E* HD. I have one 211 and one 622. As far as the satellite part goes , everything is ok. My problem lies with my HD OTA reception. I have an outside antenna that is hooked in, I guess, to the switch. Anyway, back to the problem. The reception of all HD locals comes in good and strong on the 211. The signal will be close to 100. The 622 what I am having problems with. That signal comes in at least 30 points less then the 211 There is a double coax coming into the house and then one of the two cards goes into a splitter or a diplexer(don't know which it is). What might be the problem? Could it be that the OTA tuner on the 622 is not as strong as the 2 app11. Would somekind of signal booster help? If anybody has any ideas on this matter I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

I put a splitter on my system over the weekend to run my OTA to two rcvrs and it dropped my signal by only about 2... example... from 94 to 92... on all channels..

What you are saying is correct. I had a 411 and could only recieve 2 of my over the air stations. I tried everything from boosting the signal to turning my antenna. I upgraded to a 722 and hooked up my antenna and now I get all my over the air stations and signal strength is now in the 90s

So, what are you saying, that its a problem with the 622 receiver?
