High frequency spliter

Hey guys will someone tell me if I got the right spliter. I think this is a one port passing splitter. I want to hook my 922 and openbox together so I don't have to unhook the coax to watch one or the other.

You could slave 2 receivers with that one. Hook up the one that's going to power the LNB(F) to the out with the power pass line and the slaves to one of the others. Recommended: If only one slave, plug the other port with a 75? termination plug.

Question which one is gonna control polarity

So if I hook up a 922 and a 410 and a openbox. What would be the best setup

The unit connected to the Power Pass side will control Polarity.
As for setup, its up to you and what you are comfortable with.

or a LNBF (like the common ones out there) and any receiver controls it?

Yea, if you are C-band only, how 'bout a C2 LNBF from SatAV?
Feed its two outputs to a 2x4 multiswitch (dirt cheap)...
...and those four outputs could go to any receivers you have.
Each receiver selects whichever polarity is desired, with no more cable-changing.

However, if you have a single LNB and polarotor, then you're stuck with the 4Dtv receiver controlling polarity.
