hookup question

I want to hookup my 501 and my 811 to the same tv, should I just run 2 separate lines from the dish plus my ota antenna (3 lines total) or is there a way to split it so less wires in the house.?? Thanks Bob

you would need one line from the dish to each receiver...so you are correct
3 lines total

You could also diplex the OTA onto 1 of the sat lines outside and then diplex it back out at the receiver.
