If you have the AM21 or AM21n ota tuner you can record ota signals, but still only two per dvr. You can mix one satellite and one ota signal, too.

You can't do OTA channels as there is no OTA tuner in the Directv box. Just did a setup the other day for my lawyer with (5) HD/DVR's, and he can record up to 10 shows at once! Totally Amazing!
