HP Pavs and keyboards

Ive got a Pavillion quad core with three gigs of ram, using the included keyboard there are times where a slight hiccup comes about and a keystroke doesnt register, its almost as if the system halts for a nearly imperceptibal moment. Anyone else experience this with the Pav line?

I've got a Pavillion quad core and on some days, certain keys would not work at all. I guess it was a bad keyboard because I bought a new one and have not had any problems since.
