Installation Question

My GI 650i got zapped by lightning and I'm having to replace it. I have purchased and installed a used unit. When I get it hooked up, I cannot get a menu to come in. When I uninstall the replacement unit and reinstall my zapped unit, I get a menu (no satellite reception, though).

When I select 'Menu' on the replacement unit, I do get fuzz. Is there smothing I can adjust or do to make the menu come in on the replacement unit?
