It's pretty good. I enjoyed it anyway. Saw it yesterday with my girlfriend who had journalist passes to a special screening. Tony Starks Redemption would have been a good title

Would you say its better or on par w/ the first one?

It's definitely on par with the first one. Deals with the aftermath of The Avengers and Tony's fear of losing the one thing he cares about. I think they tied up some story outcomes too quick at the end of the movie. Some of the results of the movie probably could have been carried over into The Avengers 2 or the next Iron Man if the current cast carries on in the roles.
