Is this correct? Do Joey remotes connect to the Hopper and not the Joey itself?
No, it's not correct. Joey's have an internal antenna like the Wally's and Hopper Duo's.
I've found that most of the time when someone calls themself a 'guru' that the opposite is usually the truth.
