KCPT-TV Channel 19 will add three channels for digital cable subscribers starting Tuesday and plans a fourth in the near future.
In a written release, the station said it will broadcast three separate channels from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, giving viewers more options to watch educational, entertaiREADY - RG
nment and children's programming.
One channel will feature the station's regular broadcast schedule; one will feature lifestyle programming, including shows about cooking, travel, self-help and how-to topics; and another will feature the PBS schedule on a 24-hour delay.
At 6 p.m. every day, KCPT will switch from three channels to one, devoting the entire digital spectrum to high-definition television programs.
