Is the HR23 the newest HD DVR model and what do the numbers mean after the - as is HR23-700 for example? What are the differences between even the H23 models? Thanks!

The numbers after the model is the manufacturer here is the list:

100 RCA
200 Samsung
300 Phillips
400 Hughes
500 Humax
600 LG
700 Pace

I thought it had something to do with features or some kind of spec but never realized that there were that many manufacturers for one model, are there some that are better than others?
