I live about 40 miles from Dallas. I can't get some of the network stations from Dish Network even though they have them. I have been trying to find out how they determine who and who can't view them on dish. Does anyone know a link to how this is detemined?

I think it depends on the DMA in which you reside. Are you in the Dallas DMA? What stations are you not receiving? Here's a Dallas DMA map:

As an oddity, the map linked to by laddyboy shows Red River county in the DMA, but the listing below the map lists Montague (not in the blue area) and omits Red River.
