The channel swaps were done on the satellites. Check the uplink reports. There's been a lot of moves over the past few weeks

Which uplink report are you referring to? (It didn't happen on the 27th, and I didn't see anything I would call "major".)

i also looked through the uplinks over the last few weeks and didn't see any indication of a massive transfer. Perhaps they don't show up on the uplink reports or I am missing something.

They broke them down to smaller moves

If you sleeping at the time then you wouldn't notice any changes.
