Marcus Camby traded from Denver to the Clippers

I know the All-Star Game's going on, but this will make for some good talk later.

Camby headed to Clippers - The Denver Post.

I saw Camby work out at Midnight Madness his freshman year at UMass. The players were doing some flashy drills and I could see that he had the best hands and quickest reflexes of a guy that tall that I had ever seen. While I was concerned about his build, you may recall that Moses Maolne was no bruiser at that age, so I figured he'd fill out more than he did.

For all he has been criticized for not fulfilling his potential, I think he is the best shot blocker I have ever seen play (and I saw the Boston Celtics when they played a scrimmage game at my junior high back in 1966), and can be the key inside presence on a championship team if surrounded with the right other players.

This is a basic salary dump for the nuggets, clips had space with the recent guys leaving

This wasn't even mentioned on Sportscenter, at least that I saw. He just isn't that good of a player.

I can't believe this guy got past Joe Dumars (GM Pistons), especially for this price. Blue collar worker, who would have fit in beautifully in the Pistons rotation.

I think that due to his salary (camby) it would be no go, rumor has it that the pistons are to not go over the cap and pay the tax involved with it
