Your right. I think the current policies will actually cause a reduction or a very miniscule increase.

It's funny how they emphasize the upper tier customers specifically talking about HD and DVRs and they have no MPEG4 HD DVR ready to go yet.

Ive been seeing more DirecTv dishes going up around here lately. People are switching to get the better deal.

These frills will eventually be standard for most satellite and cable providers which will not make it a premium anymore.

Dish Network really came into this DMA when DirecTV was handled by Pegasus, and then when Dish Network added LIL, the SuperDISHes started popping up big time...

I've seen more DirecTV dishes than I used to, but Dish Network is still the king around here...

Well D* just got SD locals in Youngstown last fall!! so E* was ahead since they had them for at least a year more. But all I see going in now is D*.

Well IMO its best to mount the dish where it cant be seen from the street as mine is. SO how does anyone really know?

In my DMA, E* used to rule because it was a couple bucks cheaper. Then those people got screwed when E* turned on the locals 6 months before D*, but there was a shortage of Superdishes. Only new customers could get them. By the time E* had a decent supply of dishes for existing customers, D* had 7S up and all the Phase III's they needed. So it is about even with E* having a slight lead still.

But E*'s locals look like !@#$!
