Alot of people don't have OTA and it's not on a subchannel in alot of markets.

I have hd and still say who cares if it's in sd rather than hd. quality of the programming is more important than the format it's transmitted in.

SD is better than NO D.
WOW! Someone who shares my exact thoughts.
The way some people are around here, it's HD or nothing.![]()
Olympics is a fraction of what Universal Sports offers. I'm missing your point.would NBC have any motivation to keep the channel on the air, seeing that it is a way to keep the athletes in the spotlight in the time between Olympics?

The cycling coverage this year was amazing. OTA here in Albany NY.
The point is that this channel was launched to feature year-round coverage of Olympic sports and athletes (at least that is what the tab on my web browser says when I visit the website), if NBC loses the Olympic rights it has little incentive to show this type of programming anymore.Olympics is a fraction of what Universal Sports offers. There are roamers of it going HD. But with the comcast / nbc thing who knows. Why, it's in SD...... NBC puts it on one of their subchannels.
I watch it on 4-3 OTA in the Wash-Balt area. I just wish they'd:
A) Show some curling, and
B) Show up in my OTA TV Guide
You guys with Rochester locals don't know how good you have it! Keep HD beautiful, ban digital subchannels!
