I found this in another thread, you can prob find many others google "US coordinates" or something similar. If you get pretty close it may be good enough, some say it is not that critical, just get a sat thats close to your longitude. Once you get your long. try looking at www.lyngsat.com under the US main>Sat-tracker, pick out one close to your longitude..

There's not any FTA on Nimiq that I know of, its pay =tv for Canada. Wrong place to ask about that, if you really want FTA, scan the linear satellites instead of the DSS birds.

I thought about giving a similar answer Turbosat , I was just fishing a little , his question was a little fishy , but regardless of his intentions this forum is the best technical forum around for True FTA , I wish new members would read up a little before posting , alot of folks here including myself are eager to help , and eventhough he admitted no wrong he honestly might not know why those channels were not viewable.
So your answer was TRUE to his question , and I apologize for fishing , hope Basten comes back , I know many members will help.
