Not sure who here has been watching this, but Stranger Things has been renewed for a second season.
JACKSON, Ga. -- Netflix announced Wednesday morning that their hit show "Stranger Things" is renewed for a second season that will arrive sometime in 2017.
Season one of the show was filmed partially in Jackson, Georgia and Netflix has already contacted the city to film the second season there as well.
A local government official said the show contacted him "two to three weeks ago" about returning to Jackson later this year. He said he is open to the idea and enjoyed working with the crew last fall.
Local business owners said the filming resulted in an economic boost and the show's staff was a pleasure to work with. While filming, the "Stranger Things" crew gave Jackson businesses face lifts by painting the exteriors and updating store facades. One owner estimated the show contributed about $30,000 in updates to the city and overall spending.
The popular TV show "The Walking Dead" is filmed in Senoia, Georgia and has had a large impact on the city's economy. If "Stranger Things" becomes even more popular then Jackson could see a similar impact.
Jackson Drug Company co-owner Stan Hogan said he's already seen some 'Stranger Things' tourism. People will visit his drug store, which was used as the store Winona Ryder's character worked in during the show.
Business owners are excited to see what what effects "Stranger Things" will have on Jackson in the future.
I have repeatedly begged for these shows to move to Network TV forums, only to be repeatedly ignored!okay, so this thread just got moved to the IPTV programming forum.
Can we have the IPTV programming forum moved to Network programming? Because seriously, I never knew this forum existed. I opened this thead in "Other Networks" as I saw Netflix's Chelsea there. And to be honest, it makes better sence for this to be in Prime Time Programming instead of hidden in Entertainment Providers.
On the flip side, could this thead be merged with

As I didn't know about that thread (see my point about this forum being hidden from the rest of the tv programming).

Yes, but still pathetic....and I put it on solely on Scott, who should, I would think by now, would see the light about the streaming shows and popularity, and not use a "technicality" to keep these shows in the IPTV basement.I would have thought you were used to that by now, lol.
Halloween.
