New Software 0x799

I received this software this morning. After an evening of use, I must say I'm impressed... it's stable, responsive, and noticeably faster. Still day one, but I am impressed so far. Pandora and YouTube were not there earlier, but are now. I also see the Sports Search from the CE world has finally surfaced and is channel 1205 and in the search menu. The Sports Search is truly one of the greatest features I have ever seen on a DVR. And my On-Demand works again, too!

I spoke to soon. Today, I get home and every channel is a black screen. I can see the guide, etc. and even flip channels and see the banner, but there's nothing there. RBR did not fix it. Client works fine.

Try rebooting through the menu if you can. It's always a better choice than a RBR.

Yeah, that's how I did it, I just called it RBR to save time. My bad. It came on when I got to my first AM21 channel, which somehow "clicked" inside something, cuz now it all works as fast as last night. The same black screen thing happened again when my dog turned off the Genie (which she is shockingly good at) but I just went to an OTA channel and it came on. This is the strangest thing I have ever seen. Once it works, it's great.
