NHL Network HD Is Up!

I don't know if anything else is coming today, but the NHL Network HD is now on.

Is the NHL Network-HD on an "extra" sport's tier like NBA-HD? If so, any free previews? What channel can I find it on?

It is in Choice Plus, the pack that is $5 over the regular pack.

My source says he dont see those two channels coming anytime soon.

Wish I had some better news there.

plans changed because they were supposed to be up by now. It's difficult to determine if its because of directv or because of the company that owns the stations. Either way it may not be this year.

i'm sure it's in D*'s best interest to get these up asap, so i'm sure it has more to do with FCC approval process delays than anything else. But it would be nice if they removed the bad info from their web site....put the logo up when it actually happens.

To their credit, there's a D* transaction awaiting FCC approval that is in it's 250th day. FCC has a policy of resolving these in 180 days so D* probably assumed it would be done 3 months ago and started planning their marketing.

Oh yeah, NHLN HD is great. My only wish is they show the TSN repeats in HD.
