Had my 2 Hopper, 2 Joey install on Wed (4/4/12). No problems encountered.
Old setup
3 500 dishes with single DP lnbf's pointed at 110,119,129.
dp 34 switch
VIP 722k with ota module, 2 VIP 211's.
VIP 722k feeding HDMI dist. amp feeding 3 HD tv's. longest run about 60 feet.
New setup
3 500 dishes with single DP lnbf's pointed at 110,119,129.
DPP 44 Switch
Duonode feeding 2 Hoppers, 1 joey thru HIC, other joey fed by Duonode
long HDMI cables being fed by Hoppers and Joeys.
Hoppers and Joeys all in the same place (Shelves under the Sony Big screen).
The remotes seem to work well at quite a distance.
Sort of got Media sharing working.
Win 7 computer with streaming enabled
Hopper sees the media center files, but wont play them.
Moved about 95 gigs of sagetv files off an XP machine to the Win 7 machine, Hopper sees and plays them, but no skip forward. (or back)
Now all I have to do is figure out how to convert the .WTV media center files to something the Hopper will play.
As far as the rest goes, have the usual problems scheduling recording in the Hoppers and Joyies.
A few more updates and maybe every thing will work better.
