Noob Question - Trying to get dish on back-porch with no cable jack

Hello....this may be a simple question and hopefully a simple answer. I am looking to install a TV on my back porch, but do not have a cable jack nor do not want to run one if possible. Is there and DISH solution out there to where I could "wirelessly" transmit my DISH signal from inside the house to the TV on my back-porch?

Depending on how nice you want it to look, you could always run a piece of flat cable through a nearby window. Alternatively, cable could just be "wrapped" around the house to your porch from wherever your cables tie together. These would save you money versus the wireless options.

I haven't tried this but... The TV2 output of dual-tuner receivers is pretty "hot". You might try plugging it into a UHF antenna, rather than cabling your set up directly, and see what you get on the set's NTSC tuner.

I use the wireless video sender from X10 on my tv2 and it works great.

Radio Shack also has a 2.4GHz composite video.RCA audio sender.

it's not that hot. I got about 10 feet away before it started getting fuzzy when I tried it a few years ago with a 522

Indeed that's pretty feeble. :down Of course you could attach it to a deep fringe directional antenna aimed at your TV, and get a bit greater range. Or amplify it, or convert it to some other wireless standard.

Could use this to send video from a VCR/DVD player too.
