Microsoft absolutely does intentionally engage in that kind of activity, but the longevity of their operating systems is perhaps much greater because of the gubmint agencies that require such things.You can't tell me that Microsoft never changed some underlying aspect of Windows that broke software that depended on the previous behavior.
And to be frank, Cisco software (both Windows and routers) is often pretty wheezy and comes with its own laundry list of bugs and vulnerabilities.To be fair, Cisco does not list anything past OS X x10.8 for the AnyConnect v3.x client.
