My antenna is roof mounted on a duplex, the antenna was the largest
radio shack sold 7 years ago, from the web site it looks as if it is
still the same, 160" Long Dual Boom, 57 Element Antenna Model: VU-190 XR
Catalog #: 5-2156
I live in Hamilton Ohio (between Dayton Ohio and Cincinnati) zip 45013,
I have connected three analog tv's and one HDTV to the antenna, the
problem is the rotator has gone out and I cant physically get up there
anymore due to the height and slope so now I cant get many channels.
My question, is there a better alternative antenna that doesn't require
as much rotating to get the most channels? Also I have a rone 50' mast
http://www.randl.com/cgi-local/cart/cart.cgi?ID=17818&cart=moreinfo
that I would like to use instead of my chimney.
Should I pay someone to remove the antenna from my roof to reuse on the
mast or go with a different antenna? I cant find anything in the yellow
pages for my area for installers, where is a good place to find an
installer?
Thanks for all the help and suggestions in advance.
