You overlook the fact that there are legal factory firmware upgrades / flashes , legal utilities and legal manuals .

I would like to know if the 2300A & 2500A utilities & firmware is backwards compattable to the 2000A .

Not much there for 2000A . Some for 2000V , but do not know what the difference is ( card slot ? ) .

It's a shame you're not asking about a legal firmware upgrade.
