With Dish receivers you had the option of seeing the program guide in full screen mode or 3/4 screen with the current program in the upper right hand corner. Can a directv receiver do the same thing. And if so, how?

Directv displays the six lines of guide information and the PIG(picture in guide). If you want it different you will have to stay with DISH.

depends on the receiver my TIVO guide covers the whole screen and has multiple lines of guide (that are almost too small to see) and it is nonadjustable.
