Receiver wont boot

I have a StarChoice DSR 505 HD receiver. For the past week or so the system would lock up at times when I changed the channel – would just get a black screen. Holding down the power button or unplugging the box would solve the problem. But yesterday it happened and I haven't been able to get the system to boot up since. I just get the lights flashing along the right hand side – no channel or time indicator and no menu. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? The system was purchased from KuSat just a few months ago.
