Recover recorded shows

722k just replaced , anyway to recover recorded stuff to replacement 722k ? They don't want old unit back .

Get an external hard drive and move your recorded material on the old 722 to the EHD. Now, you can plug the EHD into the new 722 and move those recordings off of the EHD to the new 722 or you can leave them on the EHD and view them directly from the EHD. That is if you can fire up the old 722 and can get to the menus.

Then hard drive is done and no way to recover. It's trash now.
