I got the HD upgrade from Directv before the new year (cost was only $99) and they set me up with the Samsung receiver. I was counting on getting the RCA unit but I guess I will have to settle for the Samsung. I have an older Toshiba tv (model 43H70) that is 4:3. What output do most people have their receivers set on. I have my set on only 1080i but unfortunately when not viewing a HD program the picture quality suffers. Should I set it at a lower output such as 720p and move it to 420p when not watching HD content? I don't know, I am just curious what others having the Samsung 360 receiver have their outputs set to.
