Select Joey from Dishanywhere/iPhone App

We recently 'upgraded' to a Hopper with Sling and 2 regular Joey's. When it works it is great...
I have a couple issues though, a major one right now is that after I reset the network - a daily requirement - I can only choose to watch via a Joey from my Android tablet. My daughter who has an iPhone and a MacBook Pro cannot make that choice. In trying to troubleshoot I found that even after downloading the latest Sling plugin for Windows on our desktop I have the same issue. Although the little green dot is shown next to the Hopper's name, clicking it does not bring up a selection menu. On the Android tablet it does.

Any one else ever seen this?

It shouldnt be on the MacBook, but the Iphone should have that access. You select your receiver, then go back to the setting screenand the last option should be to select a linked Joey. What Iphone SW is it?

On the iPhone iOS is 8.4.1 and Dish is 6.5.16. What is even stranger is that on an iPad I just tested this works ok. The iPad is WiFi only and so is connected to the local lan, while the iPhone is remote. But the android tablet has cellular and I tested with WiFi turned off.
I then tried on a different iPhone, also on the lan and it worked as well and then looked closely at the message
'Connect to your home network if a Joey is missing from the list'. As my daughter is in Florida and we are in NJ, that will not happen until winter break.
I guess the android tablet works because I normally connect from within the lan.
