.........since its known that DISH is broadcasting VOOM at 1280 x1080i (HD-Lite), I'm just wondering. Is D* going to continue with their HD-Lite...seems emails, letters don't seem to do any good. This might also keep me from coming back to D*.....I have to think twice about paying for HD & not getting full HD....just my $0.02....has this issue died with the D* subs?

I think if D* and E* doesn't get rid of their HD-Lite and give us HD the way it was intended, they are both going to be loosers to cable and new technology.

Verizon FIOS TV ;)

Just looked at their web site but it is not very clear how expensive it is. I see programing packages OK, but nothing on if they sell or rent you HD hardware or charge extra for HD programing. Also no pricing on buying or leasing DVR units, or if they have HD DVR.

Programing pricing is good, but I notice they don't have any regional Sports Networks or RSN packages shown or listed on their web site.

Service looks good but their web site is lacking a lot of information.

Is this service available in Verizon land phone service areas only?
