Ok so this one is not Electronic, but I think one of these is needed in every home theater.
What is it? Its a home soda maker from SodaClubUSA.COM, I ordered one about a month and a half ago and I love it.
I am a big Coke Drinker, and my wife is a big Diet Coke drinker, and we both enjoy the soda we make with our Soda Club unit.
In addition I have also started liking other flavors of soda which I did not like before such as Orange, Grape and even Root Beer.
We got the "Edition 1" version which came with the Soda Club Fountain, 2 tanks of CO2 which each fits inside of the Soda Jet Fountain, plus 8 big bottles of Soda syrup and it also came with a sampler pack of all of their flavors and 4 special 1 liter plastic bottles which you make your soda in.
Each liter of soda costs about 40 cents to make, which is cheaper then buying it from the store, and because your making it yourself, you can customize the taste (add more syrup, less syrup, more carbination, less carbination etc)
To make the soda I take one of the plastic bottles I I fill it about a quarter of the way up with ice, then fill the bottle up to the fill line with cold water.
I then screw the bottle in to the Sodaclub machine and squirt in the CO2 which carbonates the water. You can tell when you added enough as it make a buzzing noise when enough carbination is added. You then sloyly ad the syrup, place the cap on the bottle and turn the bottle over a few times to mix in the flavor, then your done!
I was really surprised at the quality of the soda, I like it, my wife likes it and so do the kids.
In addition to soda if you are an energy drink person they have energy drink syrups as well which are really good.
I got the Value Kit for $149 which includes enough syrup to make 108 liters of soda (you pick the flavors you want) and everything you need to get started.
I have not needed to get refills forr my CO2 yet, but when yyour first bottle runs out you go to the website and order a new one. They send you an email to you letting you know to leave your CO2 bottle outside by the door in the morning, when you come home you have a new CO2 bottle waiting for you.
Each CO2 bottle makes around 110 1-liter bottle of soda. And the cost for a refill is $19.99.
They have a more expensive fancier looking unit available, but mine does me well.
I have always wanted a soda machine in my house, in the past have purchased a Coca Cola "Breakmate" machine but was never happy with the soda and it was always breaking. But now I have the SodaClub machine and I am really happy with it.

This is one cool gadget.
