Some PTAT questions

I just noticed that at any time if I have one of the 4 channels that PTAT records selected, then if I hit the red button it shows all 4 channels available to view.

Does that mean I could record off of any of those 4 without tying up another tuner?

And if I wanted to closely manage what is recorded during primetime, but not record all of the 4 channels during that period, I could do so with only one tuner as PTAT does?

I don't want to just try it as I figure it could possibly screw things up and certainly make a mess of my timers.

Nope, wont work.
You can watch any of the four network using only one tuner but recording during non PTAT hours or with PTAT off will use a tuner for each net you try to record.
