Can you suspend an owned receiver and activate it months later without having to buy a new access card?

Okay, Now here's another question......how much do they charge you to reactivate a suspended box. From my account that I had several years ago. For example if I take one of my old boxes and put it in my RV and then turn it off, then say two three weeks or a month or so reactivate it? Or would it be cheaper to just take one from the house and move it back and forth?
