Well a guy at the office complex had to bring his youngest girl in today because the babysitter got sick.

So I hooked up the TG on the black friday 32" from wally world and got Disney rocking she's been glued since 9am. :)

Cool! Only thing that is keeping me from getting a tailgater is the lack of EA support. I need to be able to get my locals in HD while tailgating!!!

Yup no Louisville, KY HD locals either.

It's a matter of physics; the smaller the aperture, the greater the diffraction. The Tailgater has such a small aperture, it cannot resolve the satellites at 72.7 from those at 77. I don't see any way around this other than a larger dish.

seems it would work with the 11 degree separation between 61.5 and 72.7. so it is just the close proximity of 72.7 and 77 that causes the issues? I know 77 is not needed in most cases.

thanks for the explanation, even though it was a little over my head...lol

Exactly correct. Even though you might not need anything on 77, it uses the same frequencies as 72.7. So the Tailgater will capture the signal from both and those signals will interfere with each other.
