The Matrix on A&E in hd

This is the first movie in hd that I have seen on this channel. For all of you gripping about nothing in hd on A&E, well, here you go.

It will be shown again Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. central time. Will be interesting to see if it will be hd at that time.

I recorded them from a premium (cinemax i think)....look great and in 5.1

Thank god, I thought my home theater was malfunctioning when I realized it wasn't in 5.1!!!

I thought it looked great. I wouldn't dvr it or anything with commercials, but it was nice to see. I left it on while I was gaming on the PC .

I thought the pq was good. It was in hd Sunday as well.

It was 5.1 when SciFi HD aired it a couple of weeks ago. PQ was just as good then too.

PQ was very good. I actually compared it to an upconverted DVD and the broadcast looked MUCH better. I'm not sure if its just because its an older move...but the detail between the two was no comparison.

So, it was kind of cool to watch it at home in the best quality I have seen since I saw it in the theater long ago.

Crossing Jordan is now in hd, not stretched on A & E. Noticed it this morning. Hopefully this will keep going!!!

A&E is out doing it's self. U.S. Marshals is in hd. Maybe it is the year they ditch stretch.

I'm sure that given enough time, everybody will provide more & more HD, even if it's not full blown HD.
