We really like it, on our HR21-700. So much so that I wish our H21-200 had it as well. Does anyone know if there are plans to add that to the H21-200 model?

One other question - this December software update "appears" to have helped the frequent freezes tremendously, that use to drive us crazy on the HR21-700. This is because we had only one line to it, and no SWM connection (we are long time customers - 13 years) It was terribly annoying and I noticed that there are far fewer, and perhaps they've gone away. Can't say that I've been looking for them, but I don't notice them anymore.
Did the software update also address the box constantly searching for feed from that second input?

When D* does an update they cover as much as they can as far as fixes goes.
As for the favorite channels being available in the new guide, I would imagine that you will probably get it on your other rec's. as well but there is no timetable for it to be implemented.
